This Privacy Policy explains how NAR Managed Accounting Inc., doing business as NARMA Tax Advisors ("NARMA," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and protects information when you visit narmainc.com, contact us, or book a consultation. It does not replace any engagement letter or client agreement you sign with us.
Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or tax documents through website forms. We will provide a secure method if documents are needed.
If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages from NARMA Tax Advisors, we may text you about your appointments, inquiries, and services. Message frequency varies. We use cookies and analytics tools, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, to understand website traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work properly without cookies.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
Tax return information is handled under the stricter rules described in the next section.
As a tax return preparer, we are subject to Internal Revenue Code Section 7216. Unless authorized by law, we do not use your tax return information for any purpose other than preparing and filing your tax return without your written consent, and we do not disclose it to outside companies, affiliated businesses, or unrelated third parties without your written consent.
If we ask for your consent, it is voluntary. You are not required to give consent to engage our tax return preparation services, and declining will not affect your ability to receive them. You may authorize any, all, or none of the uses we describe, such as tax planning and advisory services, business and financial advisory services, tax resolution and IRS representation services, or insurance products and services. Only the uses you affirmatively select are authorized. Your consent is valid for the period stated on the consent form, or one year from the date you sign if no period is stated.
If you believe your tax return information has been disclosed or used improperly in a manner unauthorized by law or without your permission, you may contact the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) by telephone at 1-800-366-4484, or by email at [email protected].
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep client records for at least seven years. That is longer than the IRS requires for some documents, but it helps us answer questions and support you if a past return is ever reviewed. Other information, such as website inquiries, is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under state law. To make a request, contact us using the information below.
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
